         Our Beginning

Wooly was born from a group of passionate crocheters. Initially, we came together over our shared love for Jellycat amigurumi crochet, exchanging ideas and creations within China. As our community grew, we embarked on a journey to Instagram, where we connected with crocheters from Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Tunisia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, and beyond. No matter our language or cultural differences, our shared love for handmade crochet united us.

The name Wooly comes from the Chinese word "屋里" (Wū Lǐ), which means "a home"—symbolizing warmth, belonging, and a sense of comfort. We don;t just see ourselves as a brand but as an open and welcoming community where crocheters worldwide can find inspiration, share ideas, and bring their creations to life. No matter how the world changes, we stand together.
